The Undying Flame – Basanta Kumari Patnaik

The Undying Flame is the English translation of ‘Aliva Chitaa’ by Basanta Kumari Patnaik, an acclaimed Odia fiction writer.She has been conferred on ‘Atibadi Puraskar’, the highest honour ever given to a writer by Odisha Sahitya Akademi . Ajaya Mahala, a contemporary poet and fiction writer in Odia language. He has two books of poems to his credit. Besides, he is an ace photographer and internationally acclaimed haiku poet. He works currently as the Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Government of India.
