The Little Ninja Sparrows – Ranjit Lal

Description

Chiddy and Gouri are two baby sparrows who are so bullied by their older brothers and sisters that they refuse to learn to fly. With the help of a jolly breeze called Breaking Wind, they run away from home — only to be caught, dyed red, caged and sold. A kind girl sets them free, but now the local cat mafia, led by the Siamese cats Ping-Li and Pong-La, has put them on its hit list.

How do two timid little birds become the most feared ninja sparrows around? Award-winning author Ranjit Lal tells a funny, action-packed adventure about courage, family and finding your wings.
