Dubki Ke Liye Ghar – Priya Naraynan

Description

Yasmin’s family are migrant workers who have moved to a new neighbourhood, where her parents build brick houses. There she and her friends Nabila and Ali meet Dubki, a dog — and decide that Dubki needs a house of its own. Together they plan and build one, and along the way their world meets that of Jacob, Sareeka and Nooreen, children from a very different background.

A picture book about friendship between children and animals, and about the lives of migrant families in a changing city. Written by Priya Narayanan and illustrated by Shubham Lakhera. This is the Hindi edition of A House for Dubki.
