Du@100 – Seema Gupta and Neelesh Kulkarni

Description

An anecdotal history of the University of Delhi’s first hundred years — from its founding in the early twentieth century and its struggle to survive the upheavals of history, to its rise as one of India’s leading universities and its part in political movements and national life.

Built from interviews with vice-chancellors, professors, staff, alumni and the vendors and service providers who are part of campus life, it’s written by two DU alumni: Neelesh Kulkarni, author of In the Footsteps of Rama, and Dr Seema Gupta, Professor of Commerce at Deshbandhu College.
