Twenty-year-old Emma Woodhouse is a beautiful, rich,

decisions for her friends and family in matters of the heart.

Convinced about her matchmaking powers, Emma takes it upon
herself to find a suitable groom for Harriet Smith a seventeen-year-old girl of unknown parentage. Emma’s brother-in-law, Mr Knightly, warns her about the pitfalls of her meddlesome ways. Not one to be dissuaded, Emma tries to matchmake Harriet and Mr Elton, the village vicar. However, her efforts lead to an unexpected turn of events when the vicar professes his love for Emma instead.
