3 December 1984, Bhopal.

Vikram is sneaking back home after a night out with his friends when the sirens at the nearby gas factory start to wail. A strange, choking smell fills the air. Within minutes, the streets are a nightmare – people and animals lying on the ground, eyes red, mouths foaming. The stench of rotten cabbages hangs everywhere.

Terrified, Vikram wakes his little brother up. Together, they run into the dark night, trying to escape the invisible poison swirling through their city. But where can they go? And how far will they get before it’s too late?
