Due to the unprecedented nature of COVID-19 crisis, Pagdandi has been completely shut for operations since 17th March. Pagdandi is a small business that runs on money-in and money-out basis. What we earn daily, goes towards purchasing the next day’s raw material, paying rents and salaries at the end of the month. The reality we are facing today is that we do not have any large amounts saved up to pay for the upcoming fixed expenses. A few days ago, doubts crept in. We were confronted with the bitter prospect of our employees not being able to make daily ends meet or for that matter if we will ever reopen and have our livelihoods at all?
Today, we are making a commitment to our team and customers that no matter what we will stay in the ring. However many punches get thrown at us, we will get back up and keep fighting. The day it is safe to do so, all of us are going to come back to work and serve you with love as we have always done.
To help tide over this crisis, we are launching the ‘Pagdandi Bookstore Cafe’ gift voucher! You have always showered your love and support on us with your continued patronage. Please purchase as many gift vouchers as you can for yourself and to gift others. Once Pagdandi reopens, the vouchers can be redeemed for all f&b, books, merchandise and everything else in the store. The vouchers can be redeemed in multiple purchases and do not have any expiry date.
